Africa Oil & Power successfully completed its third conference at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 5-7 September 2018. The conference connected top leaders, ministers and government officials in the power and petroleum sectors. This year, AOP had its first exhibition where companies where able to showcase their products and services to over 500 delegates.
With the theme Energy Coalitions, Africa Oil & Power 2018 highlighted the need for the continent to increase investments, forging partnerships and pushing for local content development and featured panel discussions on a range of topics including Gas to Power , The outlook on mega projects and more.
Major players in Africa’s oil and gas sector were honored at the Energy Coalitions Gala Dinner and Big Five Awards where OPEC Secretary General, H.E Mohammed Barkindo received the AOP Africa Oil Man of the Year award.
