According to Idrissa Diabira, General Director of ADEPME, the agreement “opens new perspectives in view of the great dynamism and the extremely important desire of the Atlantic Bank to take up the challenge of financing SMEs in Senegal.”
This collaboration is crucial for the growth and prosperity of SMEs which are vital contributors to investment, job creation, and economic development in Senegal.
Banque Atlantique is the third-largest banking group in the West African Economic and Monetary Union zone in terms of market share. The Senegalese subsidiary has allocated 10% of its investments to finance Senegalese companies, demonstrating its commitment to empowering local businesses.
